USED BY FIRE BRIGADE CITY ALLEGATIONS (Per Pres® Association). Wellington, February 0. Following upon allegations made by an officer of Die Central Fire Brigade regarding the unusual supply and use of petrol and spare parts, the Fire Board lias for some time been inquiring into the records of such issues and at a meeting during the week resolved to take some disciplinary action. It is [understood that the matter is also being inquired into by the Audit Department. A* reporter •learned that the allegations made had reference to use of petrol or stores by others as well as those more immediately connected with the brigade. No statement from the hoard is available at present, although possibly a. statement will he made later.
