Xov. 30. Tt is now stated that ii is not improbable that the lion. J. 11. Thomas will abandon his tour. An official announcement on the subject Is expected later, in view of the persistent and critical questioning in the House of Commons as to the wisdom of Mr. Thomas going to the Dominions. The quest loners reveal an undercurrent of disapproval of tin* proposal.
