MINE WORKER INJURED (Per Press Association). Huntly. April fi. While engaged at pillar working in the Rot own ro mine. Ali*. William Bell, a miner, of Huntly, was struck on th e head by a large piece of coal. Shot, firing operations were lieing carried out. in the next workings, and ns a result the roof was loosened in Mr. Bell’s working. A piece of coal about 20 feci long gave away, and struck him on tlie head, causing a severe laceration. Air. Bell, who is a married man, was taken to the Waikato Hospital at I la mil ton.
