Not one pen of fats was passed in. and the range of prices was probably a liitle bflter than llial of lasi week. Choicest lambs went tip to 15s 4d, ewes to Us Ort and weiliers to 14s lit. For store sheep the demand up lo 1,30 p.m. was not keen, and several lines were passed in. vendors having a higher level of values Ilian buyers were disposert to give. Fairy cattle found the market in excellent order, and though lip. yatiling was larger than it lias been for several months. Hie slock offered sold readily ai prices well above the range of a few weeks ago. The best price was £ll for a Jersey second calves. Fat rattle offered did not atiraet much competition, being of someililng In low quality. Prnelleally no hilllock beef was offered, and the cow beef penned was of llie light Jersey breed.
