APPEAL OF THE LEAGUE TO THE. POHANG IN A COUNTY COUNCIL The Fopestiw League wrote to the Pohangina County Council yesterday asking for information regarding native bush, dumps of native trees and plots worthy of preservation ns scenic reserves and national monuments. New Zealand roads (said tlio League) were gradually- becoming less interesting, largely due to the thoughtless destruction and lack of appreciation of the beautiful and historic value to succeeding generations.
