FAVOUR LANG POLICY As AID TO INTERNATIONALISM DEBATE AT T.L.P. CONFERENCE (Aust. an«.l N.Z. Cable) • (Received April 8,2 p.m.) London, April 7. “Our comrade land has adopted a jolly good policy, which will give a fillip to internationalism,” declared Air R. Tail, representing the NorthEast Divisiont*l Council addressing the Inch pendent Labour Conference at Scarborough. Some cries of dissent greeted Air Tait’s statement that Premier Lang wn s acting on behalf of workers many of whom might ho relatives of English workers. Bu| the conference clearly sympathised with his approval of Mr Lang’s policy and the denunciation of Air Snowdon for consenting to the alleged rigging of the exchange against Australia. Air Ta»t accused Air Snowden of conspiring with Sir Otto Niemcyer : n British finoncihl interests to depress the standard of living of the Australian workers.
