INTRUDER SURPRISED
IN BOWLING CLUB PAVILION INCIDENT AT REMUERA ARREST AND REMAND (Per Press Association). Auckland, April 7. Two officers in ears arrived in 12 minutes and discovered a man crouching behind the counter with a cliisol two detonator* aJ.ml a plug of gelignite. •Tames Burke, 36, a. labourer, appeared in the Court this morning and was charged with ljeing a rogue and a vagabond, with being; found en enclosed premises and with having housebreaking implements in. his possession. Tie was remanded t> April 13.
