STEEL TARIFF
WORTH £ 100,000,000 RELIEF Sir Peter Rylands, at the annual meeting* of the National Federation of Iron and Steel Manufacturers at Caxton Hall, London, said that the security afforded the British steel industry by an adequate protective tariff would be of far more value to the country than £ 100*000,000 spent on relief works.
