SHOPKEEPER REMANDED ARRESTED AT CLEVEDON IPer Press Association). Auckland, April 50. A charge that about October 1, 1929, and on dates up to April 10, 1930, he received from Dominic Daniel Petty a quantity of wheat, maize and oats, valued at ,£IOO, knowing it to be dishonestly obtained, was made in the Police Court against Wilfred Lees, a storekeeper, aged 27. Accused, who was arrested at Clevedon yasterday, was remanded to appear on May 5. Bail was fixed at one surety of £2OO, and a like amount in accused’s own recognisance.
