DISTRICT QUOTA EXCEEDED £.570 ALREADY SENT IN (Per Press Association). Palmerston May 2. The obstetrical chair appeal fund in the Manawntu has closed with the quota exceeded. Mrs. Ilancox, the district secretary. stated to-day that £570 had already been in to the controlling authorities, and there were a number of outstanding returns. The quota for the district was 500.
