ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY By letter ti'ie Committee was ashed to appoint a. delegate to the annual eon fere nee of the Royal Agricultural Society, and for remits, conference to He held in Wellington in Juno. Afr Younger was appointed delegate. A sub-committee comprising Alessrs Knight, AVild and A'ounger were apjioin tetl to prepare and forward remits. TOURING FARMERS The AA'dllingfon Provincial Executive forwarded account lor L‘l7 os half-share of entertatining visiting Empire fanners' party.—Passed for payment. POINTS FOR. PIGS Hie Afanawatu-Omua Pig Breeders’ Association forwarded a letter stating it had been decided to allot points for points prizes for pigs competing under the regain lions of the Association : First 6, second 4, 'Third 2, champion 2, reserve, champion 1. —Tile secretary stated the Fetid ing Association allotted points on exactly similar lines CHAMPIONSHIPS M r Kniglit proposed that the Association apply to the respective Breeders’ Associations for file Romney and Southdown Associations North Island championships lor ram and ewe. 'The mover said tile Councils of these Associations would meet shortly and it was advisable to get tile applications in at cnee. AI r Sandilands .seconded'the motion, which was agreed.
