Dr. Elliott, Inspector of Schools Drntal Clinics, paid an official visit to the Feilding- clinic yesterday. The Hon. J. Ci. Cobbe, Minister of Defence, returned to Wellington yesterday from the south. He will be in Feilding to-night.
The Rev. Archibald Hunt, of Takapau, Hawke’s Bay, has accepted a call to St. Columba Presbyterian Church. Johnstonville.
Says the Auckland Star: Many friends in Auckland will regret to learn of the death in England, following upon injuries received in a motor accident, of Mr Charles \V. Abel, missionary. Mr Abel has been connected with the Kwato mission n Papua for no less than 40 years, lie was horn and educated in I.ondon, anti came to .Auckland in 1880.
