RIFLE SHOOTING (From Our Own Correspondent) On Saturday a shooting match was hold on the local range for the Club Cup. There was a very good attendance, hut owing to a tricky wind the scores were not as high as usual. A Couper eventually proved the winner with 88. CARD TOURNAMENT A second of a series of card tournaments in aid of funds for the Rangiwahla Golf Club was held on Saturday evening. Ther e was a verigood attendance despite the very cold night. The respective winners were: Euchre. Miss E. Delhi and Mr. A. Sikes; consolation, Mrs. P. Robinson and Mr. P. Ireland. Crlbbpge, Miss M. Kreger and Mr. C. Delhi; consolation. Miss J. De Manser and Mr. F. Say well. A delicious supper was served by the ladies of the Club. Mr. F. Say well. th 2 club captain, presented the prizes and thanked all for their attendance. OTHER ITEMS The local tennis team was unfortunate enough •to lose the Haythorue Cup, which they have held for some time, to the Kimbolton Club, by only one set.
