Patients at the Wellington Public Hospital had a pleasant surprise yesterday morning when Lady Bledisloe paid an unofficial and quite unexpected visit to the institution.
The Rev. T. Paterson, who has been appointed Moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery, is only 30 years of age. He was born in Sydney and was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ School, Canterbury College, and Knox College, Dunedin. For about five years and a half he ha-s been minister at Kirwee. He is a brother of the Rev. John Paterson, formerly minister at St. Paul’s, Christchurch.
