The Government at Nanking is preparing to. resist the advance* of tho allied northern and north-western armies under Yen Hsi Han, who announces that to-morrow will see the commencement of definite activities by his troops against the Kuomintang (the Nationalist Party). Taiyuan message states that fie Kuominchaing army under* I eng Yuli Siang is concentrating nil Chengchow, where General Feng is making his headquarters. Yen is causing a number of smaller generals t° offer to overthrow Chiajig Kai Shi. The Nanking Government is particularly quiet regarding itsAntentions, although cohs.klera.ble. ; movement of troops is’noticable^^^
