HEAVY WHEAT YIELD GROWN ON HALCOMBE ROAD A yield of 63 bushels of wheat per acre has been harvested by Mr L. C. Fergusson, of Halcombe mad, near Feilding. Mr Fergusson sowed 17 acres of Major variety. which gave bint this splendid resultOn another paddock he sowed 1-5 acres of Jambuck which gave a return of 59 bushels per acre. As advertisers of the splendid crop ping capabilities of our land, these yields are good. They also speak eloquently of Mr Fergusson’s /ability as an agriculturist.
