THE NEW GOVERNOR
GETS OFFICIAL WELCOMES AEROPLANES TAKE PART (Per Press Association) Wellington, March iq. After spending the night in the harbour on board the Rangitiki the Governor-General came ashore at 9.55 o’clock this morning. A large crowd had assembled to take part in the welcome given by teh Harbour Board, and there was a great outburst of cheering as the party proceeded to the Town Hall through -streets lined with people to be welcomed by the Mayor and City Councillors. .Two aeroplanes flew over the. harbour during the ceremony.
