THE HONEY CROP

HARVESTING COMPLETED A LIGHT RETURN Mr D. S. Robinson, apiary instructor of the Department of Agriculture, reports that the honey crop Las been harvested, but unfortunately the hrvest had been extremely light, being only about 2d per cent, of that of last year. “We understand that the crop has been light throughout New Zealand, excepting Canterbury, where a failaverage crop lias been harvested,” siad Mr Robinson, who attributes the low returns to the unseasonable weather which has been experienced.
