DANGER TO CROPS (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Calcutta, March 17. Th e finest winter crop the United Provinces of India have had for seven years are in danger of destruction l>y locusts. The Government warns district officers* of the advaue e toward Allahabad of a swarm, which is expected to arrive in ten days. The progress of tlie swarm is being recorded by telegram and telephone.
