BYRD’S HUSKIES
TROUBLE OVER DOMICILE (Per Press Association). Timaru, March 17. A meeting of the MacKenzie Country run-hloders was held for the purpose of considering the position which lias arisen in respect to the suggested domiciling of a number of the returned Byrd Expedition huskies at the Hermitage, Mount Cook. A strong protest was made regarding the Government having gilcii permission for the dogs to remain. and a resolution was carried unanimously against it.
