The situation of the Disarmament Conference, according to the British spokesman, is still characterised by sober optimism. Premier Tardieu’s latest attitude is interpreted as quite hopeful, even t° extent of suggesting a five Power pact. There is not yet any conclusive agreement either between, America Britain and Japan or between Britain and America.
