LAST WEEK OF EXHIBITION A VALUABLE CARGO (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Rugby, March 17. The Italian Art Exhibition, which since it opened at Burlington House in January has been visited by upwards of 400,000 people, will close- oti Thursday, and preparations are already being made for the return to Italy ref several hundred of the world’s masterpieces which have been lent for exhibition by public galleries n,nd private collectors.
The liner Leonardo da Vinci, in which the pictures were brought to London, is djue to leave on her return journey about the first week in April with a cargo valued at over £10.000.000.
