The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Cosmo Lang, has informed the clergy of his diocese that be is prepared to permit the use of sojne of the forms of orders of service contained in the revised Prayer Book of 3928. which Parliament, rejected. Tli e clergy must satisfy themselves that, such use will meet, with the goodwill of tile parish councils. DC. Hoi ford Knight, M.P., says the bishops do not possess authority to sanction the changes. It is their business, to enforce the decision of Parliament.
