GOOD RETURNS AS EAR. AS KNOWN Tim opossum se-apon. in the Wo! lington acclimatisation district closed last Saturday' might, and already some very good catehg> have been reported. It is expected that the reivfc of the trappers will be marketing their furs’ at the next local r,alo. The seaborn, though a. rather wot one in the bsh country, has,- -it is understood, been fairly good all round, the skin.s being of fair average quality as compared with other seasons. As pif’OOg are firm those trappers of experience who know the district are believed to have done well. Nothing like a complete return, of the season’s kill is yet to band.
