TJSE OF RECLAIMED LAND 'Hie Lyftelton Harbour proposes to ■make an airport at Lyttelton on some of the reclaimed land. frn his report to the board, the cLiirman, Afr H. Holland, M.P., said ■ limit, practically all the other ports and, centres in the Dominion were nioving in the matter of providing airports, andj lie thought a anting .ground af, Lyttelton was necessary and would become mote so. He suggested that the board should communicate witll the Government with a view fo arranging for a landing sie on the reclaimed land at Naval Point. There were 58 acres available at this spot which were of- no use at present. The report was adopted.
