CABLE RATES CUT
RESULT OP AGITATION ( Aust. and N.Z. Cable) (Received Sept. 6, 1 p.m.) .Vancouver, Sept. 5. The recent campaign to reduce the Pacific cable rates to Australia and the Orient, has resulted in a cut of five cents (2kl) per word off the full rate and S\ cents per word off the deferred rate, to various prints in the Orient.
