FIN A NCIAL D ELATE ENDED LAND POLICY settlement TJie Financial Debate terminated in the House- last night, and progress was -reported on the first item oi the Estimates The Government's proposals in regard to land settlement were disclosed m the Laud Laws Ameudipcut Bill, which was read a first time and referred to tire Lauds Coinmi ttee. The main provision is that authorising loans up to Ed,OOO,(XX) for the acquisition of land, lor the settlement of undeveloped Crown land, and for the settlement ol undeveloped land.:
