In a very hard game played at a fast pace under . warm conditions the .Otaki touring Bugby t«am beat Hawke’s Bay at Napier this afternoon by one point, the scores being 14 to 13. Though the visitors were lucky to emerge winners they thoroughly deserved their . win. They made fewer mistakes than the home side and made the very best of Hie opportunities that came their, wav. The Bay territorially had quite two-, thirds of the play but were unable to finish off their movements effectually.
