THE DOMINION EXECUTIVE INTERESTING BUSINESS (Per Press Association) Wellington, Sept. 5. A meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was hold last night, Air AteYiily presiding. A telegram from the Otago Centro stated'that it would be impossible to hold the New Zealand cycling road championship in that district if the September date was adhered toMr MeVill v said he disapproved of the method of hawking the championship* about the country. He considered the centres to which the championships were allotted should carry them out.

Permission was granted fo fhc Wangamii-Taranaki Cent.ro to hold the New Zealand amateur athletic championship on Friday and Saturday, March 14 ndi 15, 1930. Authority was given to set aside £2O for future overseas tours.

Affiliation was granted to the Kaiapoi Harrier Club.
