MOTORISTS TN COURT In the Ngnruawahia. Magistrate's Court, before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., R. J. Church, charged with driving a ear in Great South Road a( the rafe of 5.3 miles, per hour, was fined £5, costs 12*.. W. A. Xewhy pleaded guilty to driving his lorry af; an excessive speed, .30 miles an hour. The Bench said tin’s was a case of groat importance, as heavy vehicles travelling af high speeds disintegrated file surface of the roads. He would treat this as a test ease. Defendant was fined £2, costs 10s. The same fine was imposed on A. Harvpy, a driver of Whi|e Star Motors, for driving af over -10 miles an hour. »
