TWENTY TRUCKS DERAILED
ACCIDENT NEAR BALCLUTHA (Per Press Association) Dunedin, Sept- 3Between 3.30 and 1 o’clock this afternoon the goods train from Clinton met with an accident at Toi.ro, six miles south of Balclutlm. resulting in the derailment of about 20 trucks. The, mishap caused a d,elav of about an hour to the. midnight express from Invercargill to Christchurch and also fo the Dunedinlnrercargill express, passengesr having to tranship at the scene of fine accident. It is expected repairs will he effected before {he morning. No further particulars are available tonight.
