Testing of this season’s wheat for ■protein content is being carried out by the Wheat 'Research Institute at Ohristehurelf. An arrangement has been made with the threshing mill owners Whereby a sample is provided from every fourth pmklock threshed. Some of the samples have come in already and about 3000 are expected. The Wheat Institute was established recently w&tfcj the. idea of improving the standard of wheat and flour, and enabling halt-! ers to make a. uniform loaf.
