Designed and constructed hv Mr E. C. Isaac the father of an old boy. a particularly handsome lectern was unveiled in the AVellington College Memorial Hall before the as. sembed pupils. The college, crest and motto are in gilded metal. Mr CresswciJl, an ex-headmaster, explained that stibscripl inis came from hundreds of hoys who 1 had recently left school, also from a number who \vore still in school.
Air Leu George said the lectern would always stand as a memorial ,ln those hoys who learned the. pi"n_ ciplcs of loyalty, sacrifice and service in the school.
