FEILDING MUNICIPAL BAND
PROGRAMME AT JOHNSTON PARK The Feilding Municipal Band elicited the commendation of a largo gathering at Johnston Park yesterday afternoon on the rendering oi an excellent programme of music. The march, “Colonel Bogey,” was popularly received and was played ami in hv the special request ol numerous visitors. There- was a innate t of 22 bandsmen, and under the conduct of Bandmaster W. A. Brabyn, the band displayed the steady progress it ha s made since the endeavour to place it on a fresh footing. Tt is intended that similar programme shall he given at Kowhai. Park in the near future, to be followed by a performance in the Square. The first official public appearance will be during Easter when the hand will fukil its engagement with the Feilding Jockey Club'
