JOHNSTON PARK
A commencement was made to-day with, the preparation of the me a foundation .surrounding the Johnston Park pavilion ready for tar-sealing. This work was agreed to at the recent meeting of the Borough Council and will add greatly to the improvements already effected. A generous and keen admirer <-t the, new grounds has approached the works supervisor, Cr. T. Collins, suggesting that the painting of the stand should he completed. When told that funds were at a low ebb the response was an immediate one, the citizen in question undertaking to find the money necessary to defray costs.
