Air 11. E. Tripe, who has been appointed associate u> Air Justice Blair, will take up the position .t Auckland this week. He will be missed in cricketing circles in Wellington, as ho was a popular member of the University senior eleven.

Raymond Fair, a young Auckland anthropologist, is visiting his parents at Otahuhu prior to taking up liis residence for two years on a lonel.v island of the Solomon Group, under appointment by the Australian Research Council, to study its anthropology. Ho will )>e the* sole white man. among some 500 Polynesians.
