Cosgrave. “With a view to,ending the political turmoil,” he said,.- “I am prepared to forgive and forget on condition that the majority will of the people must decide all issues. If the Do Valera Party give up the arms they' dumped' in 1923, when fighting ceased, there will be no necessity for putting the Public Safety Act into operation.”
