NEW ZEALAND DINNER
A DISTINGUISHED COM PAW. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). London, June 17. Four hundred enllmsiastie guests wore present at the .New Zealand annual dinner at the Mayfair Hotel, at which Sir Janies Parr presided. .Mr Leopold Amerv, Secretary of State for the Dominions, was the chief guest. Amongst the others were Lord Jellicoe, Sir Joseph Cook Sir James Mills, Lord Islington, the Bishop of London, Earl Liverpool, Admiral Beal, General Sir Edward Chayter, General Sir William Fur.se. Lord Vestel, and many shipping, hanking and produce representatives.
The menu was outstandingly char, net eristic of the Dominion, and included toreroa soup, rainbow trout, Canterbury lamb and passion fruit.
