FATAL MOTOR CRASH

MR FRANK WILSON KILLED. (Press Association Telegram.) Auckland, March 26. A shocking motor accident occurred at the corner of Anzae Avenue and Reach road at 6 o’clock to-night, resulting in the death of Mr Frank Wilson, a. well known Hamilton howler (he frequently skipppd champion rinks), who was one of the occupants of a, moto,. car which came into violent collision, with a tram ear. 5 The motor was being driven down Anzae Avenue and crossed two sets of tram rails on Reach road. After crossing th e oar apparently swerved back on to the rails, a. collision then occurring with great violence.

The force of the impact wrecked the motor ear, while the front platform of the tram was somewhat

damaged. It was once seen that three of the occupants of the motor ear were injured, two Very seriously. They were hurried to the hospital, where Frank Wilson, of Hamilton, died shortly after admission from grave head injuries. Air A. Z. Dickson, of Wainui House, Symonds street, sustained very serious head injuries and is still unconscious. Air Leonard Jackson, of Hamilton, also received head injuries, but his condition is not considered serious: The occupants of the ea r vwe returning from a howling match.
