SHARKS!
BIG ONES CAUGHT. (Press Association Telegram.) Auckland, Jan. 7. Sharks have been making their appearance in Munaka.iL Harbour during the holidays, : and lor some days, two, stated to be ,of the grey nurse species, were caught by Mr Rennie Eraser from Graham’s beaeli wharf. Several fins were seen circling oil this popular bathing ‘"beach., and vheii heavy ilnes were put out two sharks were caught. >f i'lie'y. each measured Bit Gin. in leiigfh. On the following day' another shark, measuiing just over Sit, was - caught in the same locality. Bathers who use the beaches oil the inland arms ot the Manawau are now displaying more caution in entering the water.
