FATAL FIRE.

FARM LABOURER BURNED ~ Invercargill, Dec. 31. The farm house of Mr Arthur Blundell at Waitnglua was destroyed by fire this morning. • - The incident was attended by a tragedy, William Henry King, farm labourer, a, single man, aged 28, being burned to death. : Yesterday King complained ol being unwell', and when called to the milk in this morning he answered, hut did not get up. Mr Blundell milked several cows and then went towards the house to see what was tlie matter with King und found the house ablaze. The lire was most fierce near King’s room. Mr Blondell managed to get the children out, but King perished.
