CAUSE OF A SUICIDE.
FEAR OF BLINDNESS. (Press Association Telegram). Auckland, Dec. 29. At the inquest on Frank Percy, a middle-aged man who was found dead in a boarding-house, a note written by do, cased w-.s read. It staved that his sole reason for suicide was that lie was getting blind. He had completely lost the sight of one eye. A specialist confirmed his suspicion that blindness would shortly be his fate, and he could not face this. The letter was dated from Dargaville. The Coroner found a verdict of suicide by. poisoning.
