MARTOX MEETING AT EEILDING AND TH E ■TR A I NS. The Railway Department lias arranged an excellent timetable for tlie Afar ton Jockey Club’s summer meeting at Fetiding on Friday and Saturday next. I n addition to tlie ordinary train leaving Wanganui at 6.35 a.m., a special race train will leave Wanganui at 8.19 a.m., arnVing at Marto n at 10.6 ‘ a.m. and Eeilding 10.43, returning from Eeilding for Wanganui at 5.48 p.m. and 6.20 on Friday and at 5.48 and 6.0 p.m. on Saturday. A special train will leave Taihape at 8.10 a.m. and Marton 10.6 a.m., arriving at Eeilding at 10.45 a.m. The fares are 12s 2d and 8s 3d return from Taihape.

On Friday there will be specials leaving Palmerston at 9.28 a.m. and 10.15 a.m., arriving Fejlding n(, 10 a.m. and 10.50 a.m. The 10.15 a.m. train from Palmerston will conned, with trains from Paekakariki and Foxton. A special will also leave Palmerston at, 11.2, picking up passengers by the Wellington Limited, which leaves Wellington at 7.55 a.m. and arrives at Palmerston at 10,40 a.m., connecting at Terrace End with train s from Dannevirke and Master-; ton,«arriving at Feilding at 11.30 а.
