A MAN OF CAPACITY. , Geneva. M. 1 ouilloz, a French Custom House official, while climbing alone the Col de Balme, above Chamonix, fell SO feet and broke his leg. He made a splint of iiis ice-axe and crawled for seven hours to reach the summit oi the Col. He remained there in agony for 10 hours before a search party found him, almost dead from exhaustion
