A carnival evening is. to lie. held i n the Kiwi ten Hall next Thursday, New Year’s Eve, in aid of the hall funds. There wilt he an abundance of enjoyment of all descriptions, ice creams and sweets stalls, refreshment stall, guessing, dancing, and various other competitions. By the way, amongst the guessing competitions is a splendid cake made by a lady of the district who is famed fo r these things. The' prizes to he won are all valuable and good. The old year is to be danced out and the New Year in.
