LABOUR PARTY’S IfOLICY. (Ausfc. and N.Z. Cable). (Received, .Dec. 29, 11 a.in.) Sydney, Dec. 29. The Government will not be able to appoint any women to the Legislative Council for some months, till the Constitution Amendment Rill has received the Royal assent. The chief measure for Parliament when it resumes is consideration of the Electoral Bill, seeking to revert to single seats, with the first-"-past the post system of voting, .which the Legislative Council previously rejected. substituting preferential voting.
