CEMETERY DEVASTATED.
A 'GALE IN FRANCE (Aust. aud N.Z. Cable.) 1 Paris, Dec. 25. A gale wrecked the Eiffel tower’s aerials, preventing broadcasting, and overturned a ferry boat-crossing the river Seine, nine persons being drowned. Several persons were, injured at llheims by the collapse of walls. The- gale razed tobstones in Clermont, leaving the .cemetery, like a shell-torn battlefield;.
