Premier Fuller is sanguine that lie will have a working majority when the absentee and postal votes have been counted and the preference votes have been distributed. His Ministers generally are hopeful that the Government’s position will improve as the count progresses. Mr Lang, the leader, is sure that the Labour Party will have 46 seats in the new Parliament, and it would therefore he able to form a ministry.
