WANGANUI EDUCATION BOARD.

THE MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board was hold yesterday, Mr Eraser presiding. There were also in attendance: Messrs i’ilkington, Mclntyre, Laws, Aitken, and Hemingway. A report was received from the Town Clerk, Ohakune. regarding the removal of remains that were on the Board’s property. Lot I Block \., Ohakune Township, pointing out that the removal of the remains would cost £l2 3s. Mr Mclntyre hoped that the remains would be decently interred this time, for the matter had resurrected itself on several occasions. Mr Pilkington said that the Board would he able to sell the property once the remains were removed, and it would pay for the removal and leave a small balance. He recommended that the whole thing he cleaned up. and this course was adopted.
