And in light of this decision, it was unanimously resolved: ‘That this committee, having considered the question of the shortage this year of wheat for the Dominion's requirements, expresses approval of the policy of the Government as set out in the Minister of Agriculture's letter dated 28th July, and sent to the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, Timaru. ’ ” The report was adopted.
